Chulabhorn Award for the year 2023, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 10:00
AM, in the main conference room, 3rd floor, Chulabhorn Royal Academy Office,
Administration Building 2, Lak Si District, Bangkok.

                  The Princess Chulabhorn Award, established to honor and acknowledge the royal grace and disseminate the royal benevolence of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak, Princess Chulabhorn of Thailand, was initiated on the occasion of her 65th birthday anniversary on July 4, 2022. The award recognizes her dedication to the Thai people, particularly in the fields of cancer research, prevention, control, and patient care. Besides her role as a scientist, she has emphasized the importance of enhancing the quality of cancer patient care, leading to the establishment of the Chulabhorn Hospital specializing in cancer treatment. Since its opening to the general public on October 29, 2009, the hospital has continually progressed, earning the trust and respect of the community. Recognizing these contributions, Chulabhorn Royal Academy decided to elevate the award to an international level to honor outstanding achievements in cancer prevention, control, and patient care that benefit humanity. The criteria, procedures, practices, and scope of the award have been defined, and the Chulabhorn Royal Academy has approved the establishment of the Princess Chulabhorn Award Foundation under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak, Princess Chulabhorn of Thailand, ensuring the sustainable operation of the international Princess Chulabhorn Award into the future.
